“Sea kayaking sessions” Price £45/person on double kayaks.
Sea kayaking sessions run at Port Quin North Cornwall. “Explore North Cornwalls coast the environmentally friendly way!”
Ages 12 and up (under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult)
Moderate level of fitness required for this session.
These sessions are planned on or around the high tide if possible but do sometimes run on lower tide times depending on the conditions.
We provide wetsuits and all essential safety kit along with a qualified and very experienced local guide who has grown up in or a few miles away from this location.
We start off by going over the basics, then explore Port Quin harbour, its caves and harbour mouth areas. If its calm we will go on a further journey, if its windy or rough we will use the features of Port Quin to offer more skills training or some fun challenges. Either way a great fun couple of hours guaranteed with Sam or Archie. Sam has run trips for 17 years from PQ and Archie 7 years. Both have grown up paddling from Port Quin and the surrounding area.
We hope to take in the amazing geology, wildlife and history of this very special piece of coastline.
We often spot Oyster catchers, cormorants, turnstones, Gannets and many more types of sea bird. We sometimes see Seals, Sunfish, Dolphins or even Basking sharks!
We cant guarantee the wildlife but we can guarantee the stunning location and amazing scenery!

We can provide Summer or Winter thickness wetsuits dependant on the seasons if you do not have your own.

What a fantastic fun adventure we had today on a sea kayaking tour. Idyllic setting and good instruction/training. We learnt a bit about the coastline and local history. Cannot praise Archie our very personable guide highly enough . If you want a more intimate, naturalistic and surprisingly affordable adventure then look no further.

Sam is marvellous! What a fantastic experience! There were many companies to choose from but we definitely made the right choice! Worth every penny!
Sam made the experience really enjoyable, very knowledgeable about the area and the local wildlife.
It’s a beautiful part of Cornwall to explore, including caves and a shipwreck etc. You’d be foolish not to book this guy! Thank you Sam.
